Identification:-   इन वाक्यों के अंत में था, थी, थे का प्रयोग होता है |

Helping Verbs :-              was/were

He,She,It,This,That        was ( Any singular )

I                                         was

We,You,They,These,Those            were ( Any plural )

Example:-

1.       मै घर पर था |

I was at home.

2.       वह बीमार था |

He was ill / unwell.

3.       वे स्कूल में थे |

They were in the school.

4.       हम छत पर थे |

We were on the roof.

Types of Sentences:-

1.     Affirmative:-           Subject + was/were + Object

2.     Negative:-               Subject + was/were + not + Object

3.     Interrogative:-

Wh.family + was/were + subject + Object

4.     Interrogative + Negative:-

Wh.family + was/were + subject + not + object
